    MARKET ANALYSIS

    OCG's engagement with AlphaTurf NW focused on evaluating the feasibility of expanding the company's operations into the Bend, Oregon market.

    • The team conducted a comprehensive industry analysis, regional market assessment, competitor landscape review, and financial modeling to determine whether establishing a permanent Bend office represented a sound investment.

    • The final deliverable gave AlphaTurf a clear, data-driven recommendation on market entry, supported by demographic research, break-even analysis, and a consumer survey targeting high-income residential segments across the greater Bend area.

  • GreenCars, Lithia Motors

    CONTENT STRATEGY & UI/UX

    OCG partnered with GreenCars, Lithia Motors' dedicated electric and sustainable mobility platform, to develop a comprehensive content strategy positioning the brand as a leading resource for EV and micro-mobility education.

    • The team conducted a PESTLE analysis of the electric mobility market, benchmarked GreenCars against top industry content producers, and performed a gap analysis of the platform's existing content across organization, curriculum flow, and digestibility.

    • The team also identified user experience improvements to the GreenCars landing page and gathered primary research from 18 to 25 year olds on their educational content preferences, culminating in a full content strategy recommendation covering video formats, website content types, and organic and paid media opportunities.

  • Bigfoot Beverages

    GO-TO-MARKET STRATEGY

    OCG partnered with Bigfoot Beverages, a Eugene-based regional distributor, to evaluate the market entry feasibility of adding Lotus Plant-Based Energy syrups to its product lineup across Oregon coffee and beverage shop channels.

    • The team assessed the competitive landscape, benchmarked competitor distribution models and pricing structures, and conducted primary research through consumer surveys and structured interviews with coffee shop owners and baristas to gauge demand and identify adoption barriers.

    • The engagement culminated in a clear, evidence-based go/no-go recommendation covering profitability potential, supply chain considerations, and the strategic requirements for successfully scaling the product across Bigfoot's Oregon distribution network.

  • Brew Dr. Kombucha

    BRAND & MARKETING STRATEGY

    OCG partnered with Brew Dr. Kombucha to develop a consumer insight-backed marketing strategy for capturing the high school and college-aged demographic.

    • The team benchmarked Brew Dr. against major competitors using a custom scoring rubric, conducted expert interviews across marketing, sociology, and psychology, and fielded a broad survey across Oregon universities to understand what drives purchasing decisions among younger consumers.

    • The engagement culminated in a full marketing strategy and competitive analysis equipping Brew Dr. with actionable direction for reaching and retaining a younger, loyal customer base.

    OPERATIONS & ECONOMIC MODELING

    OCG worked with Core3, a multi-agency disaster preparedness initiative based in Redmond, Oregon, to build a comprehensive economic case for developing a centralized public training and safety facility.

    • The team modeled short-term construction impacts, long-term operational benefits, and scenario-based cost justifications tied to Oregon's exposure to wildfires and Cascadia Subduction Zone events.

    • The final deliverable suite included an executive presentation, a detailed economic impact report, and a white paper designed to support Core3's funding conversations with local, state, and federal stakeholders.

  • City of Tualatin

    CITY & URBAN DEVELOPMENT

    OCG collaborated with the City of Tualatin and the University of Oregon's Sustainable City Year Program to conduct a strategic market study of the city's downtown core.

    • In support of Tualatin's 2022 Core Opportunity Reinvestment Area Plan, the team benchmarked peer cities, mapped existing business and land use conditions, and fielded a community survey across residents, workers, business owners, and visitors to identify service gaps and untapped economic opportunities.

    • The resulting report provided city leadership with targeted business recruitment recommendations, short-term activation strategies, and a baseline set of performance indicators to guide long-term downtown revitalization.
